Atari mini-Comics in Overstreet

Recommended Posts

I received the following e-mail from a comic book collector today.

A month or so ago I had asked for information on the Swordquest Waterworld mini-comic that you had for sale and you had asked if it was listed in the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide.

The new Overstreet (#37) just came out today and they have a Promotional Comic section that lists it. I figured you guys might want to know how it values the various Atari comics.

Swordquest 1 and 2 are listed at:

GD - $2.00

VG - $4.00

FN - $6.00

VF - $10.00

VF/NM - $13.00

NM - $16.00

Swordquest 3 (Waterworld) is listed at:

GD - $3.00

VG - $6.00

FN - $9.00

VF - $15.00

VF/NM - $20.00

NM - $25.00

Atari Force 1, 2 and 3

GD - $1.00

VG - $2.00

FN - $3.00

VF - $4.00

VF/NM - $5.00

NM - $7.00

Atari Force 4 & 5

GD - $2.00

VG - $4.00

FN - $6.00

VF - $8.00

VF/NM - $10.00

NM - $12.00

Centipede 1

GD - $1.00

VG - $3.00

FN - $4.00

VF - $6.00

VF/NM - $8.00

NM - $10.00

I appreciated receiving the Overstreet info and thought I'd pass it along. I think the overstreet guide price for Swordqwest 1 and 2 are high above grade Fine. Waterworld guide price is about right. The Atari Force and Centipede comics are about right give or take.

Is that all of them? There seem to be a couple missing: Yars' Revenge: The Qotile Ultimatum, and wasn't there a comic book also included with Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man? Any others?
