Red 5 #1 Posted April 27, 2007 (edited) I search, as most of us do, for that hidden auction that has the hidden gem. The one that somehow, nobody sees. Once every two or three years, if you are lucky, you get one. Well... I finally got one. (Nothing insane like a Quadrun, but still made my week!) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...p;rd=1&rd=1 Needless to say, I have a trade list ready to be posted in about 10 minutes. And while 1/2 of this post may be to say, "LOOK AT ME ! LOOK AT ME ! YEEEE HAAAAA !" The other half is to give hope to those like myself who hopelessly dig through thousands of auctions, reading combat, asteroids, space invaders, OVER and OVER and OVER again until your eyes bleed. There are still a few needles left in the old haystack. Also, to Dave, who asked the question, I am so sorry. I hope you have already received this package or are sure its on the way, more then once I have seen good deals get lost due to someone either telling the seller or offering more
Red 5 #4 Posted April 27, 2007 (edited) Although, not the brightest bulb in the box, I am not that stupid. Received, tested them all, and am trading the doubles in the marketplace. Very good advice to everyone else though. Receive it before the LOOK AT ME! post. Edited April 27, 2007 by therealred5
CGQuarterly #5 Posted April 27, 2007 Which game is the hidden gem? The xonox cart? Chris
FND #6 Posted April 27, 2007 Which game is the hidden gem? The xonox cart? Chris TCM i'm guessing
Red 5 #7 Posted April 27, 2007 Texas Chainsaw Massacre was the big one, and more importantly, one I have been trying to find forever. The rest was all just bonus, considering I would have probably paid the price I won the auction for just TCM loose.
oldgames #8 Posted April 27, 2007 Also, to Dave, who asked the question, I am so sorry. No prob, Red. When I read the reply, I figured it would catch someone's eye. If I wasn't such a tightwad, I'd have pushed it a little higher. Still, if somebody's gonna beat me, I'd just as soon it was you.
homerwannabee #9 Posted April 27, 2007 I don't see it. This is kind of like finding Waldo. Where is the cart in the picture anyway.
oldgames #10 Posted April 27, 2007 It's in the back row, evidently. I wouldn't have known it was there if I hadn't asked for the list of games.
video game addict #11 Posted April 27, 2007 I saw this lot but didn't see anything special in it. Guess I should have checked back. Congrats!
Albert #12 Posted April 27, 2007 I don't see it. This is kind of like finding Waldo. Where is the cart in the picture anyway. I don't think it's visible, I looked again after someone stated it was Texas Chainsaw Massacre. ..Al

Red 5 #14 Posted April 27, 2007 It wasn't visible, and I was skepitcal until I opened the box and found it. Then I was happy. Then I hoped that one of the two 'no label' games would be Halloween, but I am not THAT lucky. The first was bowling, and the second was Q-Bert. (although I was shocked it wasn't Frogger, kink of the label-less carts.) I have Tapper already, so I wasn't too disapointed to find out that it was the CV version. The rest was all in pretty good shape and the 2600 works. Why was there an NES controller in there? Your guess is as good as mine.
