Yobo Famicom/NES Top Loader

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I've found a new clone on Ebay. It looks like the old school NES, but unlike other clones, it has perfect game compatibility, audio, and video! It also costs less than $30. Check it out!

:lol:

By the way when I originally posted this, it was intended to be as a joke.

I own an original NES-101 Top-loader, and had heard from tons of people at the time that the Yobo was just as good and that it was pointless for me to pay so much for a real Nintendo Top-loader.

As a joke, I tried to act like I actually liked the Yobo.

That's what you get when you don't leave a Joke thread warning in your message...people will end up taking you very seriously at your word.

Yup, I learned that after I received a million pm's even today;

so I figured I would clarify it was a joke thread.

All the problems with Famiclone consoles can be solved by just purchasing an NES. You can even add in a new 72 pin connector and a Famicom converter before you come close to the price of what most places charge for these clone systems. I don't understand the appeal.

They seem to mostly be purchased by people who like to take shit apart (perfectly understandable), and gullible flea market types who are easily roped in by seeing Super Mario Bros. running on a ten inch screen in the corner.

1. there are the people, like here, who collect stuff for the fun of it (i think)

2. there is the regular lazy person who doesnt know and dosent want to know how to take apart the NES, as long as they can play the games without any hassle.
