Bucket Brigadier #1 Posted May 4, 2007 Hey all, I recieved Thrust+ Platinum a few weeks back, but thanks to my thesis/finals haven't really been able to test it until just recently. I ran into a problem upon power up; the game starts, but then cuts out about a half-second into the start screen. I read through the manual and checked the switch settings. Making sure it was set to NTSC and not pause, I tried again. Nothing. I tried PAL just for the sake of it, it still projected the picture for a half second and cut. I'd estimate its broken, but is it possible I'm still doing something wrong? I've been testing it on my light-sixer. Thanks for any replies.
Thomas Jentzsch #2 Posted May 4, 2007 Can you explain "cuts out" please?
Bucket Brigadier #3 Posted May 4, 2007 Well, screen goes black, with the last note playing or flat-lining from when the screen was projecting the picture.

Large, bankswitching games prefered here. Else it must be the cart.
Bucket Brigadier #5 Posted May 4, 2007 Well, I checked it by plugging in some other carts. My other games seem to work fine; but I'm not sure which of the other games I have may be referred to as "large, bankswitching" games.

Or some other modern homebrews
Bucket Brigadier #7 Posted May 4, 2007 Tomcat, Missile Command TB, Defender II, River Raid II, Space Shuttle; those are really my late release/HB games. All of those work.

racer raul #12 Posted June 5, 2008 Even after you get it fixed, you'll still have problems... The game is freaking awesome and you'll not want to put it down...

Yeah, the game is a tough challenge and it needs some time to handle the control of ya ship. IMO one of the best homebrews ever!
