Necron99
not sure if you want these but it looks like they are missing with end labels?
nofrills100
I only noticed today when I was photographing my Hi-Score console for eBay, that the slots in the styrofoam packaging for the pack in cartridges are designed to fit t-handle cartridges if necessary. As I've mentioned before, the artworks on the back of the box feature ultravision karate and condor attack, as well as funvision games. So there is definitely connections with hi-score/action hi-tech and those companies. Actually I notice too that the recesses are designed to fit the shape of vcases too (that are slightly wider at the top of the cart) Edited June 23, 2013 by nofrills100
Rom Hunter
Thanks for all the scans, guys! I'll add them asap. No end labels needed.
Rom Hunter
3 others not on the database: foot ball.JPGbowling.JPGfrogs and flies.JPG The Bowling one I find interesting as I have not come across a cartridge with this label that only has a single game on it (usually they have multigames). Nofrills, Do you have big scans of these? Thanks!
Rom Hunter
The extremely rare Millipede 1984 PAL silver label now in our database: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-millipede_29402.html Thanks to Andre!

high voltage
I was gonna ask you, why is Rocklan not in the Atarimania VCS database? I read in 2600 Connection there's a game called Racer mentioned Edited October 2, 2013 by high voltage
Rom Hunter
Roklan worked for Atari: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-racer_21947.html
karokoenig
Hey Rom Hunter. Would this manual be of interest to you and your database? It's the german language manual of "Outlaw". As far as I was able to research, there was no cart or box called "Scharfschütze", they just kind of translated it for the manual cover. Scharfschütze means "sniper", by the way. Rom Hunter
Yes, these German only manuals are interesting. Thanks for the link. BTW: in this catalog are all the German translations: http://www.atarimania.com/catalog-atari-atari-germany-_126_2.html
karokoenig
Interesting, thanks for that. I'm sure that most german translations were made only for that catalogue. As far as I know, most manuals still used the english original title on the cover, just like on the boxes. That's why that manual on ebay struck me as rather odd. I've never seen a manual where the game title was translated to german - at least not on an official Atari release. The countless clones and hacks produced for the german market only, like Quelle - now, that's a completely different story.
karokoenig
Hey Rom Hunter... Have you ever seen this label variant of Bugs Bunny? I couldn't find it, neither here nor on Atarimania. And it achieved a pretty good price. I didn't want to go THAT high...

Rom Hunter
Yes, that's a repro cart. Nothing genuine.
karokoenig
Label scans of a Paris Attack (aka M.A.D.) cart I picked up on ebay. Looks like this label variant isn't in the database yet. Sorry for the weird format. I am at a computer that has absolutely jack shit for a graphics program...
Rom Hunter
Thanks! It's here: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-double-game-package-air-patrol-paris-attack_16363.html
karokoenig
Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. Stupid me. By now, after about one year of collecting, it should occur to me to look in the double game packages... (edited. Reason: me being stupid again. Now I see the double game package does show up when you search the database) Edited November 13, 2013 by karokoenig
boxpressed
Rom, is it safe to say that if you do not have an image of a box variant online now that you are missing it? Or is there a backlog of scans that still need to be added? I may have a few.
Rom Hunter
Hi Boxpressed, There's a bunch of Imagic scans in stock that need to be added, but other than that: no scans. If you have any, please let me know.
Christophero Sly
Rom, I believe the entry for 1986 black label (Atari, Corp.) Breakout in the Atarimania database has been mislisted as PAL, when it should be NTSC. At least I can't find any NTSC entry for those variants, and I've never known them to exist as PAL variants. Christophero Sly
1986 Dodge 'Em (NTSC) 1986 Street Racer (NTSC) 1986 Star Raiders Box (NTSC) Kind of rough, but it's the only one I've ever seen. You're also missing the NTSC 86 Bowling variant with the incorrect controller information present (not covered by black tape). I think Phil has a scan of that one on his site.
