flashjazzcat #26 Posted June 9, 2019 Since the trackball pictured is a drop-in replacement for the ST mouse, it already works with the GOS. Any device which works differently will require a driver, but that's hardly a problem since the drivers for human input devices are generally rather simple to write.

+Larry #28 Posted June 16, 2019 Does the Last Word (or any other productivity app.) support a mouse? And I also seem to remember a mouse adapter by Mytek. (??)

If Jon ever returns to his GOS and finishes it, I bet he'll do at least a basic port of the text-only version. In the meantime, the GOS work-in-progress version itself is fun to play around with. With @mytek's mouse adapter as implemented on the XEL and XLD boards, the mouse functions like an Atari Trak-Ball. That means you can play Missile Command and several other TB-enabled games with your mouse.
+CharlieChaplin #30 Posted June 17, 2019 (edited) Evil as I am, I am using the BEST trackball, which looks like a trackball, but works like an ST or an Amiga mouse. Edited June 17, 2019 by CharlieChaplin
