Did you find any yet? How many did you want? I probably have more than a few spares, especially since I like the 6 button controllers better.

I've seen these fairly regularly at thrift stores for anywhere from $1.00 to $6.00.

 

Do you need, like, all of them you can get your hands on or more like 3 or 4?

What's your threshold of pain on the price? Timeframe?

Specifically im looking for (no 1650) made in Taiwan. With the big screws. Has a rom instead on the blob on the circuit board inside. I want a couple to modify to use with my vectrex.

One of mine is from Malaysia, the other is from Taiwan. I see the screw size difference, but neither is a "glop top". They both have packaged IC's. The Taiwan unit has a through-hole DIP package and the other has a SMT package. Your options may be more open than you thought.

(I use mine with my 2600, so they're not for sale)

 

I was going to make a thrift store run today. If I see anything, I guess I can make a note of where I saw it since I don't know your acceptable price point.

Yeah, me too. Just checking in case I saw something. Hit your local thrift shops, they'll eventually turn up. I didn't see any today at the one place I went.
