PressureCooker2600
i'm partial to the ps2 version.....but i've never played the gba version
+atari2600land
I have the GBA version too and it's really cool. There was going to be an Intellivision Lives! for the DS, but I haven't heard anything about it so it must have gotten cancelled.
Flojomojo
Why would you want Activision Anthology on the DS when the GBA version is already so great? How would the 2nd screen work? There's a PSP version, which is basically the PS2 version. Needs more homebrew. As for Intellivision Lives!, supposedly it's finished but doesn't have a publisher. Considering the shit-in-a-box they've put out in the form of the plug-n-play units, I wouldn't expect much from that company. The GBAversion, as good as it is has only 55 games. I'd like to see Imagic games and other Activision titles like Double Dragon and Goustbusters. The 2nd screen.. I guess it would be helpfull for instructions while you're playing a game. Space Shuttle.. there must be other things.... how about 2 player real time wi-fi games.. i'm on the top screen, he/she is on the bottom... And could they fit all the Activision commercials on a DS card? I guess I'm a sucker for anything Acitivison.... I have the PC, PS2 and GBA versions.. -Rick I know there's other's out there that know what I'm talking about... If I had more time I'd write more..... n8littlefield
I'd love to see it. The top screen could be gameplay, the bottom could be the switches from the Atari and instructions. It would be neat to see the instructions as to which game mode is which while pushing the game select switch!
Vic George 2K3
And possibly better control for Kaboom? Personally, I would love to see Activision Anthology for the DS.

Jess Ragan
I asked them about this a year and a half ago, and this was their answer... Original Question While I like the concept of taking all my favorite 2600 games on the go with Activision Anthology, I noticed that many of these games don't run at the same speed they did on the original hardware. Is there a possibility that this collection will be released again for the Nintendo DS? The speed issues could easily be resolved by porting the Anthology to a system with similar hardware, but a faster clock speed. Also, paddle compatible games like Kaboom! would greatly benefit from the system's touch pad. JR ********** Aspyr Media Support Response Hello, Jess. I'm glad you're enjoying the Anthology. Often times, alas, ports from older systems suffer from slower load times due to any number of reasons, clock speed included, as you have noticed. At this time we have no plans on porting it to the DS, but should we decide, it'll be announced on our website--and such a port would likely aim to take as much advantage of the touch pad as possible. Keep checking back with us for news on this as well as on any of our upcoming projects. Thanks a lot for your interest in our games! Jess Ragan
Also... for what it's worth, Activision Hits is a pretty solid collection, similar to the Playstation 2 game but with a more user-friendly interface. My only real beef is that the screens are kind of blurry, even if you're playing them in a window. It doesn't help matters that the refresh rate of the PSP is so sluggish. JR Why is the refreah rate slow? The last hand held I remember playing with a slow refresh rate was a Game Gear. Sonic was really blurry on it. They really have to make a DS port! -Rick
