1200XL Owners Club (serial tracker)

List of people who own more than 1 machine and how many. Note that my six count isn't accurate as the systems aren't fully usable and some are just empty burnt shells.

Yeah and mine are actually 130XEs with 1200XL case/keyboard..

 

But they still have 1200XL serial numbers!

No it can't, I had 2 previous to this one, but there was a big 1200XL shaped space to fill in my life. I'm sure you will replace it, and even add to it soon ;)

Just curious as to the fascination with 1200xl serial numbers, unless someone here has a record of every 1200xl that left Atari's manufacturing facilities in the US (since the 1200 was the last Atari computer manufactured in the US) so as to tallying up the stated serial numbers mentioned here with those officially recorded by Atari themselves

 

Bearing in mind of course that according to a figure mentioned elsewhere on the A8 forum in AA, Atari allegedly shipped out about 100,000 1200xl machines....so that's a lot of 1200's to try and keeo track of

It's a 1200xl thing. You have to have at least 3 or 4 of them to understand the obsession. :D
