Spider-Man label variations?

Is there any large deal between the color and b&w labels on the Parker Bros. Spider-Man games? I haven't been able to find the b&w listed anywhere. Maybe first run or last run carts, or just a variant from the print shop?

I don't believe I've heard of a B&W Spider-Man label before, but since we already know of the G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike B&W variant, it's plausible that they made a few of one or more other titles.

That could be because there weren't any. My wife and I have both looked this cart over and, judging from the uniform fuzziness, I believe the cart I have is merely sun-faded. Under the fluorescent light in my workshop, the 'Spder-Man' printed on the beveled end reveals some color at the very bottom of the lettering (though not much). I apologize for the false alarm

 

I was all worked up, because I thought I'd discovered something cool. Duh. I'll look harder, next time.
