Lauren Tyler #1 Posted May 19, 2007 I've heard through at least one source that the XBox version of Taito Legends 2 from Europe can be played on US XBox systems without any modifications required. Can anyone confirm this? On a similar note, my mom and I found an apparent NTSC copy of TL2 on eBay and bid on it. Whether or not it works remains yet to be seen. But what I still want to know is if this rumor is true?
Scumdogg #2 Posted May 19, 2007 Is Taito Legends 2 not being released in the US now? I heard just a couple weeks ago that it was.
Atariboy #3 Posted May 19, 2007 (edited) I can confirm that its region free, at least the copy I have is. Its possible that Europe saw more than one run of the game I suppose and that its not possibly true for every copy. And I've seen at least 5 or 6 other individuals at various places confirm it as playing fine in unmodified US systems and I've seen it on a list of region free Xbox titles, etc. So you're probably safe. Taito Legends 2 for the Xbox isn't being released in the US, only the PS2 version is. Both are worthwhile purchases since they each have 4 exclusive games. MetalSlime23 #6 Posted May 21, 2007 I went to Gamestop/Ebgames to try and buy this because it seems this is being sold exclusively in their stores. When I walked up to the counter and asked about it, the clerk told me that the game has never arrived at any of the stores, and nobody can explain why. If you go to the website, it allows you to buy it, but for some reason, the stores haven't gotten any. I hate exclusive crap for this reason.

I was hoping it'd show up all crazy-cheap at Target like some of these comps tend to do.
