Lego Star Wars II $9.99 shipped from Buy.com w/ GCO

Buy.com has Lego Star Wars II for the 360 for $19.99 (which was a universal price drop), but they are doing the $10 off any order using Google checkout (for new GCO users). If you ave used GCO before, then just create a new google account and use a different CC or check card number. They have a free shipping option, but charge sales tax in CA (and maybe elsewhere). So I just picked it up for $11.44 shipped. If you have never played Lego Star Wars before, it is a vey cool game, especially with two people. Even used this game will run you at least $15 plus tax so this is a cool deal. Hopefully they haven't started actually using that ugly greatest hits box art yet though.

I can verify the game is awesome.

 

This was also the game that made me realize what a difference there is between this generation and last. I had been playing Lego SW pretty heavy at the time, making my way to 100%. I was in Best Buys and looked over at the monitor when I heard the familiar sounds of the Cantina...I did a double take and was like, jeeze why does the picture look so crappy on that TV...Then I realized it was the PS2 version of Lego SW.

 

Anyways, $9.99 is great price for this game for sure. You will get hours of fun especially if you go for all the achievements. I think I'm still missing like 5. The ship levels are mucho hard to complete wiithout getting killed.

I've got the game on the PSP, and that's good enough for me. I was really enamored with it at first... it's the perfect blend of two nostalgic franchises. However, I find myself confused and unsure of what to do next, even in the earlier stages where the goals should be pretty obvious. I really ought to download a strategy guide for this one...

Those flying undefeated achievements are ridiculous. I've maxed out my achievements for that game, which was a blast. Fantastic game.
