Check these 2600 items!

Recommended Posts

I love reading old video game magazines and I came across a few Atari items I had never seen or heard of, does anyone here have any of these items?

1) The Amiga Power play Arcade series cartridge, it has 3 games built in: 1) Ghost Attack, 2) Havoc, 3) Genesis, all 3 games could be played in 3-D.

2) The Obelisk stand up arcade controller From J.D. Home Incorporated of Boszeman Montana, it was made of wood & formica and came in 4 different color combinations for just $89.95. ( I would love to have one of these for my game room!!! )

3) Check out this Parker Bros "Tutankham" box cover.

4) The Stick Station: it is basically a piece of 2 x 4 wood with a square cut out to place your 2600 controller in and rest on your lap, all this technology for just $14.95.

:lust: :ponder: :?:

Very interesting. The Obelisk would be sweet in a gameroom but what am really wondering about is that Amiga Power Play cart and was it ever made? If not maybe a prototype is floating around or not as it could of been just a ideal that never saw the light of day beside showing up in that advertisment.

It's a shame those Power Play carts were never released. The world needed another release of Name This Game.

:ponder: So, did you have to run around the Obelisk to reset the game?

Arcade-style play and exercise, too
