Hi Guys:

 

Remember Activision's Venetian Blinds Demo game. I was wondering if there is anybody can make me a homebrew version of the game that has the same of everything that Activision's version has. Even with the same brown label. A exact duplicate!! If anybody can do one for me, please let me know. Its just for my personal collection. Thanks.

Even Randy put the Hozer skull in the repros he made, at least all the ones he sold me had them.

I explained these things to the "new member" and he was quite quick to be rude to me for such telling me it was "only for his collection" and then I told him that doesn't matter as it is taboo and labeled REPRODUCTION is the only way it would ever get made. He was bold enough to ask for a price for one with a reproduction label and then tried to haggle me about a price tag of $29 dollars plus shipping and then insult me further. I wasn't doing anything less then what I thought would be in the best intrests of all. Buddy asks for exact rip offs of proto's then throws a shit fit when he can't get one, and then freaks out even more when the one he might be able to get isn't pennies on the dollar. So ya I did speak up about it in more of a quite mannor than anything else and I would LOVE for you to try to get me banned for speaking the truth and spreading fair warning in regards to such things on all levels.

Excuse me, but there is nothing insulting about saying "for my Personal Collection" 2. Asking for a price deduction is always part of business. 3. I didn't run a hissy fit because of not receiving the game, I was in retaliation of your actions for your quick actions, and harsh words to me. 4. You maybe on the post for awhile, but since I'm a new member, its a different story for me. Please be more careful 'Shawn Sr' in the future.

One thing I'd like to add to this, is the fact that Shawn acted after my comment about making an exact replica. He just uses more colorful words than I am able to.

 

That said, please do not ask for exact replicas of extremely rare items, and you should be fine around here.

Controversy aside, can anyone advise if the "Venetian Blinds" code was ever actually utilized in a subsequent game? I am not referring to the background graphics, which was used in..."Barnstorming"(?).

It's thanks to people like Shawn and CPUWIZ that you can still feel (sort of) confident getting a real game and not a

cheap duplicate. While he may be a bit overprotective, trust me, it's for good and not evil.
