majinbuu #1 Posted June 2, 2007 Hiya I know that this topic has probably been run into the ground, but for some unknown reason I can't get the search feature of this site to work with my browser. If anyone is willing to answer, can you please tell me your top games you like to play so I can compile a game list I can go through. At the moment I am being treated for a disease which might take some time, so any suggestions will be appreciated to take my mind of things. Thanks Sam

Warlords (Especially with four people) Maze Craze (With an evenly matched foe to trash talk) Missle Command (Because I dig the color pallete changes)
A Sprite #12 Posted June 2, 2007 Random order. Starting with - Communist Mutants From Space: Edutainment title reveals how space bugs are born and die, as well as providing a subtle critique of the way war and business often intertwine. It is to Galaxian what War and Peace is to diet soda labels.

A Sprite #15 Posted June 2, 2007 Next one: Tapper. It's just like working at a saloon. During prohibition. The idea is you give free soft drinks to the angry mob, or they will hurt you. Actually, since you lose a life, it's probably murder. There are also some nice dance sequences.

A Sprite #18 Posted June 2, 2007 Gyruss - No jokes this time, this simple shooter is the only preNes game to hit me on an emotional level. The story is this: You're trying to come home, and home is 3 billion miles away. 10 years after I first played it, I'm still looking for blue skies. majinbuu #22 Posted June 3, 2007 Thanks for the responses, I'll need to go through them all to create a manageable playlist. There's just so much variety in the games that people like around here
+davidcalgary29 #23 Posted June 3, 2007 I'm just surprised that Defender is on so many top 5 lists! I always thought this port was Atari's worst, being nearly unplayable with its terrible flicker problems, iffy collision detector, and blocky graphics, but this just shows how widely opinion of what constitutes a "good game" does differ.
