Anyone ever seen this joystick before?

Recommended Posts

Picked this one up at a Tag Sale today.

Still have to do some (serious) cleaning and then test it, but I have never seen one like it before.

It is a High Score HS-20.

If you can't read the buttons, this is how they lay out from left to right...

Manual Fire

Auto Fire Indicator (light)

Coleco - Atari VCS (can be used for Coleco or Atari with the flick of a switch?)

Left Hand / Right Hand - cool feature so you can flip the joystick over if you are a lefty !

Auto Fire Atari VCS (guess this option doesn't work on Coleco.)

I really hope this sucker cleans up nice and plays well. It is heavy and the stick is nice and tight.

Here's hoping.

I've seen a lot of sticks before, but nothing like this one.

Is it rare or just something that has eluded me?

Very cool.

I wonder if mine should have a button on the stick.

Doesn't look like it should, but maybe... :ponder:

Here is your HS-20 with its black cloth carrying bag and here is the HS-15 with its box. there is another HS-15 CIB for sale on ebay, but the seller wants over $120.00 for it.

So I am missing a button for the stick.

Oh well.

Considering I got it in a box with a Telegames Pong and other Pong-ish games for $2.00, I am not complaining.

It cleaned up nice and works great so I am happy.

Still contemplating keeping it or putting it in the old trade box.

I have a mystery stick, too, can anyone tell me what kind of system it goes to?

three pics, click next.

The bottom control thing is a potentiometer of sorts with the knob removed. The top is a joystick.

I could be wrong, but I think that's a TI-99/4a joystick.

I have a few of that look a lot like those with my Texas Instruments computer. (Which is now in a box that I will eventually be getting rid of.)

That's a Gemeni stick missing the knob. Check my post here if you want to see it advertised way back when :)

Here you go, its the Dual Command Advanced controller from Coleco, it looks like the center sticker and the control knob came off.

Never tried Le shhhStick, then...I guess ;)

I must be the only person here who actually enjoyed using one of those things. The Wico Video Command was terrible in comparison (waits patiently for the fall out) ;)

That's definitely it, thanks! It was in a box of stuff I got, it looked like somebody's unfinished experiment. I'm gonna try to repair it.
