Thought I'd just bump this to say that they've added a few more snippets and screenshots on the Nanostray 2 site, and I have to say it's just shot to the top of my wanted list. It's looking like they're trying put right everything that was wrong with the first one.

For me, it's two simple words.

 

Rock Band.

 

Dear lord this game is gonna totally turn me into a vampire, as I will never leave the house in my free time ever again. I'm gonna get a direct line installed to the closest pizza place, get soda delivered to my door weekly, and forget about everything else for the rest of my life.

 

Oh, and GH III and 80's edition are gonna be fun, too, but Rock Band is gonna totally DESTROY all other music based games ever created, period.

If it included videos and they made it so if you weren't perfect on the notes your guitar would sound a little 'off' instead of the stupid sound it makes now, then I would agree. But I still think it will be a good game.

I can't seem to get into the guitar games, I think it's because my rhythm sucks, but I'll admit Rock Band sounds like the best to get. Not only can you jam out with you friends (Guitar, Drums, Mic) but you will be able to download entire albums...not songs, but albums. That could be very cool.

Yes, I bought this (overcoming my EA phobia), and yes, it's terrible. I can't recall having been this disappointed in a major release in a long time. Though the gaming environment is very pretty, the tasks are all incredibly boring, the game is buggy, and that damn camera is the most annoying thing I've seen in ages.
