fdurso224 #1 Posted June 3, 2007 Hi Guys: Here's a interesting question. Is anybody thinking of making a Homebrew Halo game for any of the Atari Systems!!! Anthony...
Gorf #3 Posted June 3, 2007 How? That's what I m talkin bout! The Jaguar would be the ONLY target that might... might have a cold chance in hell of doing it. As a Jag coder, I doubt it would be anywhere appealing like the Xbox version is, if it were even feasable.
fdurso224 #4 Posted June 3, 2007 Hi Guys: Simple, make a original game that can be with anything with Halo. It doesn't have to be like Halo 1,2, or 3. Just a cute game that we would enjoy. Anthony...

bretthorror #6 Posted June 4, 2007 Even if a 2600 version was to come out, then they'd have to mod 2600s for online play... oh it'd be madness.
Crazy Climber #7 Posted June 4, 2007 Maybe a Berzerk hack with 2 player at a time action?
fdurso224 #8 Posted June 4, 2007 Hi Guys: Maybe a driving game (like Enduro). Except, with the Master Chief in a Warthog. Driving past the Convenant members in their Ghost space cars. Anthony...
Jess Ragan #9 Posted June 4, 2007 Sure, you can play Halo on an Atari 2600. You just need to attach this handy accessory... JR
salstadt #10 Posted June 4, 2007 The problem is almost none of the core elements of the series could be carried over. As opposed to something like Megaman or Prince of Persia which can be boiled down nicely. It'd be a Halo game in name and logo only.

(obviously with lesser graphics) could actually fit on a 2600 cart. Anyone know?

Lord Helmet #13 Posted June 4, 2007 Maybe a Berzerk hack with 2 player at a time action? A hack of Wizard of Wor would work also.

FastRobPlus #20 Posted June 5, 2007 Here's my entry. See - you can tell it's Halo becuse you've got the Master C in a warthog jumping over Covenant logs on Halo. You can even see the curvature of the world so you know it's Halo... Pretty brilliant if I say so myself. I'll start working on it as soon as I finish Links 2600
