I have several stacks of the interlocking MusicMate and similar holders next to the gaming TV. They're arranged by company then alphabetically.

Boxes, if I have them, get stored in the closet.

Manuals go in plastic sleeves inside big 3-ring binders.

I could put my 2600 games away since I've got a Cuttle Cart 2, but if I have the actual cart, I still pull it out and play it. Maybe I'm just weird.

Alphabetical by company, then alphabetical by title, split by label variation with spaces left for games I am missing.

(simple right? )

Most importantly, readily available to play !

Like this ! :)

(Boxes are on another shelf and manuals are stored in boxes on another shelf.)

Most of my games are either on a shelf in the closet or in the plastic drawer storage ricky29 rescued from the dumpster.

I have them sorted by system, then by cartridge or disc manufacturer, then alphabetically. Boxed games are separate, and manuals for unboxed games are in a briefcase.

Hey, therealred5, you forgot to put any Starpath cassettes up there. :P

I keep my 2600 carts in these shallow, lidded boxes my wife brings me home from work. They're exactly as tall as most Atari carts, and they hold about 45. Sadly though, they don't work so well with some of the taller cart designs such as M Network or Imagic, so i have to keep those in other boxes.

I used to arrange everything just alphabetically, but after seeing so many collections on here, i broke it down by company as well. They just look so cool like that. :)

I'd love to get around to building some efficient shelving for them though. My 2600 games are the only ones in my collection not out on display, and that's sad for me.

To therealred5, i'm assuming you built those shelves yourself (or had them built)? If you don't mind revealing your secrets, how did you go about it? I've just decided that's exactly what i want in my house. :D

As for me I keep my carts stacked up on a metal storage shelf.I sort them out by company.

One day when I was dumpster diving I managed to get my hands on two cigarette pack dispensers.I brought them home and fount out the carts won't fit.So now it holds all of my cassette tapes.

Hey realred5, is that something you built or bought or what?

We made them.

Long story.

All that were made (or ever will be) are mine or are sold though.

Other than mine, a total of 8 were made. One sold on Ebay (for way too cheap) and the rest

were sold to collector's here and other places.

Thread here...

Alphabetical by title regardless of company. From #-Z. I need to get 2005 Minigame Multicart so 3D Tic-Tac-Toe won't be so lonely. ;)
