Crazy Balloon and Power Off!

Recommended Posts

Yea! I just ordered Crazy Balloon and Power Off from the AtariAge Store. Anyone else just order games from the AA store?

If so, what did you choose? It is such a hard decision with all the great games available right now. There are as many games in the AA store as I remember in Eckerd Drugs in the early 80's. For anyone that didn't know, you can get Power Off with the BOX which is really cool. Wish there were more homebrews with boxes.

Anyone else rather play a homebrew than the old games? I do still play many of the old games I have but I play the homebrews longer.

I just got Strat-O-Gems Deluxe about a few weeks ago. I'll be getting GoSub (because I made it ;)) I wanted a box for it, but boxes are very expensive to make, so that's why very few homebrews have them.

I read the Gosub thread and it will be nice to see that one come out. I will certainly buy that game. Following the homebrew threads is interesting and makes me appreciate the intricacies of programming. OH and the frustrations. DANG I would like to have it with the blue cart.

I own Power Off! and it is a very fun game. Don't let it's initial difficulty frusterate you, it takes a little practice to get good at it but well worth the wait. It's currently one of my favorite HB games.

BTW - Picked up GoSub today at the MGC and so far it gets two thumbs up but I have only got a few minutes with it, I should have a few marathon rounds this weekend though :)
