How many 2-player games...for the Jag ?!?

Hello folks,

just want to know how many 2-player games are there for the Jaguar ?!? *Meaning 2-players at the same time (not one after another)...*

 

I remember, Checkered Flag does not have a 2-player option (another falldown besides its very awful controls). Super Hang On, errr Super Burn Out has a two player option - but just for one track. It is not possible to play a whole tournement with two players in SBO... oh well... -Andreas.

WHAT?!? Uh, got news for you, Super Burnout can be played in two player split screen on EVERY SINGLE TRACK IT HAS...where did you get that "only one track" crap from? And it's AWSOME!!!

in SBO you can play every single track in two player mode - every SINGLE track. Meaning you choose and play track one and then you are returned to the menu, where you have to choose track two. Choose and play track two and you are returned to the menu, to choose track three...etc. etc.

 

In the one player tournement mode one can play all tracks - they are chosen and played automatically, one after another. no need to return to the menu here and always choose a new track. If I remember correctly, in the two player mode whenever you return to the menu and choose a new track, your scores are reset/zeroed - not so in the one player tournement mode.

 

In other words: SBO has a two player mode, but there is no two player tournement mode (the tournement mode is for one player only)... -Andreas Koch.

Ahh, I see what you mean. Sorry, your wording led me to believe that you could only play ONE track, whatever that ONE is...yes, it's true you can't play a whole tournement in two player mode, but in most cases that's a much longer game than most "buddies" want to play in one session anyway, IMHO. I NEVER once found the lack of this feature a concern nor did it ever occur to me until now. I used to play this game ALL THE TIME with friends and it was never a concern or thought. Especially since I usually had a few friends over and we took turns racing each other; that would be a LOOOONG boring session to do in championship modes with friends leaving with bordom from watching just two people go through ALL the tracks! It's a TOTAL non-issue IMHO. But I do understand what you where refering to now...
