I've read that AvP2 was announced for JagCD, but I don't know how far along it ever got.

Man that would've beens awesome, makes me wonder about all the new features it would've had (I can imagine it being the first game to support the voice modem).

the first game to work on the voice modem "is" Ultra Vortek,it works as i know for sure  and AVP 2 was announced but not started as far as i know :)

Too bad very few people will ever get to use the voice modem :( I say somebody should reverse engineer one so everybody can have one lol... but then we'd need games that actually use it :/

Somebody could always e-mail Rebellion about AVP2.

if more games supported the JVM then it would be worth re-producing,but its not because of lack of games and its limited range,as far as more people getting to experience the JVM that will eventually change in the future  as far as Rebellion goes ,im sure it never got that far, just proposals and artwork as it was slated to be released on the Jaguar CD......

Well.. it could also be said that most developers didn't have JVM's either lol... Very true though, theirs no demand without games to back it up as a feature. So it's basically nothing more then a conversation piece for a collector.

Well the JVM was in prototype stages and alot of games were rumored to work with it,however that theory has been squashed and only Ulra Vortek works,so its more than a conversation piece if put to good use,id love to find a few more :)
