2600Lives #2 Posted June 14, 2007 Damn, 65 bucks buy it now, and all that included? Niiiice. You got some kick ass games, too. Both Bonk games, Legendary Axe, Vigilante, and Ninja Spirit all kick major booty. All in all, a nice haul! I got my TG several years ago at the game store where I worked. Came with a customized carrying case (which I LOVE), the multi tap, two controllers, and about 8 games. I bought it for a hundred bucks along with a clamshell style 3DO system and two controllers with 10 or so games. I thought that was a pretty damn good deal for all that. classicgamer24 #3 Posted June 14, 2007 nice found there apoloboy i personally recommend you try collectorscardsandgames if you wanna get more games for the tg-16(i traded dvds and other stuff for it and i basically sent him 20 bucks to ship it for me with bonk adventure and since i never had one i thought hey i wouldn't mind adding it to my collection and then i did and im glad http://collectorscardsandgames.com/new/TurboGrafx-16.html
8th lutz #4 Posted June 14, 2007 (edited) You did pretty good for starting out with games. The price is a deal for what you have. Out of the 10 games you got from that auction, I own 2 of them. Legendary is a great great game and Alien Crush is a good pinball game. Alien Crush is good, but it fails in comparison to Devil's crush, another tg-16 game, I own. I haven't played Ninja Spirit, but I heard it is a must have game for the system, and Bonk's Revenge is considered to be a must have for the system. Ghost Soldier #5 Posted June 14, 2007 Excellent lot of TG-16 games.
EricDeLee #6 Posted June 14, 2007 I have all of those games. You did well. I once got a steal off of craigslist a few months back. For $30 I got a TG-16 console, Turbo Booster Plus, and 10 games in the jewel cases and two loose games. I made out very well on that one too. Nothing really rare... but in this day and age.... I consider anyone having a TG-16 for sale at cheap prices rare.
+Cobra Kai #7 Posted June 14, 2007 Those are definitely good games. I've been out of the TG-16 market for a few years, so I don't know if that's a great deal or not, but I'll take these guys word for it. Personally for $65 I would have liked to see some of the jewel cases with a few of those games, but maybe I'm asking too much. Get a Turbo Booster or the CD attachment so you can use A/V cables and get stereo sound. The TG-16 has some kickass stereo effects!
akirahedgehog #8 Posted June 15, 2007 Congratulations. I should be getting my replacement TG16 in about two days so then i'll be happy too! Have fun!
jimid2 #9 Posted June 15, 2007 Hey, that's pretty cool! Reminds me of the one I won a couple days back. I picked up a TurboExpress and a handful of games a while back, and I've been watching Ebay for a decent deal on a TG16 - I think it's a good deal at $65 to find a system in great shape with some games... I'm very pleased with the auction I won, too.
