an unindentified cart

it was Boing

not too bad

but I would like to have a label

can anybody make a new cart label?

Is yours PAL format, if so maybe they released a few in PAL format with no labels? Or maybe we both have prototypes? We should open them up and ask someone if they know....

Do not put a sticker on it. Some of the PAL Boings were released labeless. I would keep it in original condition if I were you. Its a pretty rare find.

Mine was 20 bucks last week on Ebay but I think since it had no label it scared bidders away, also it's PAL format. Now that Dino has confirmed that a few were released with no labels I am going to leave mine the way it is.

Its PAL, so its not worth much, despite the fact its rare. $20 is about right.

A. So what if it was released label-less? Unless he does something dumb like put it on with super glue, a repro label can always be removed later and not hurt the value of the cartridge.

B. Rarer does not necessarily mean more valuable. See "Halloween" for the exact same situation -- label-less version acknowledged as legitimate and rarer, but typically sells for less.

I would but I'm currently not allowed into the USA. I'm working on getting permmited to be allowed back in though. Let's just leave it at I have a colorful past.

Its not because of its value, but its rarity. I prefer originality over everything else. A Pepsi Invader cart look so hot compared to a labelled repro in my eyes

In fact Boing usually came without labels... I've got tw of 'en. I paid about £3 for one with a broken case and £50 for a good one CIB (you try finding the box! Not easy!).

 

I've not seen a PAL with a label yet!
