homerwannabee
I have been having trouble finding out anything about this controller it says it was made by Honest Soft Co. LTD. But I can't find anything. Here are some pics. Edited June 19, 2007 by homerwannabee
Scumdogg
Oh hey, i just saw that exact same controller in a game store a couple weeks ago. I was wondering about it myself...
bretthorror
It looks just like another controller I have, except a different color.
jboypacman
Was this a import controller for the Famicom(NES)? Am not for sure but i could of sworn i seen one of these at a local gameshop a while back. Maybe a limited edition controller perhaps or even a knock-off one for one of thoses pirate famicom game systems.
2600Lives
I believe they are repro Famicom controllers. You can get 'em at Game X Change for 10 bucks, I believe. Cool looking, but I'll stick with my NES Max.

It doesn't look like an NES connector. I THINK it's a 15-pin D-sub connector, which makes it a FamiCom pad. But I'm not sure, and if it's a 9-pin connector, it's a Famiclone pad. 2600Lives
I'm almost positive it's got the same connector as the US NES system, or at least, all the ones I've seen at GXC have the US style plugs.
homerwannabee
The connector has 15 holes. So maybe it is some kind of Famicon pad.
Atari5200
i've seen the same controller or at least very very similiar controllers at 2 different game stores in my area. I've never paid any much attention to them as I already have a crap load of nes controllers.

christianscott27
I've got one of those with an earphone jack on it, for some reason I thought it was a beeshu but I could be mistaken.

There's a lot that look really similar. Was your's one of the ones that "added stereo"? I gather a few of the ones with headphone ports had some gimmick where they adjusted the audio to the left or right depending on which direction you pushed the d-pad. NES Console
lol it's a damn famicom connector I have like 20 of those
NightSprinter
Yeah, I believe it was one of the Turbo JoyCards designed for the FC. I can see a DB15-F connector (plugs into the expansion port of the FamiCom). It's just nothing more than an external turbo controller. Nothing special. NES Console
not really ... I mean here we used to have Famicons with both 9 pin connectors and 15 pin connectors
