streps #1 Posted June 20, 2007 Is there any difference: 1. in the Klax games sold by ResQsoft and Video 61 2. and Sentinel games sold by ResQsoft, Best Electronics, and Video 61 Or are they just copies of one another with slightly different labels. I know ResQsoft no longer sells/produces these games. Scott
+Mitch #2 Posted June 20, 2007 They should be identical other than the label. Mitch

horseboy #9 Posted June 22, 2007 here they are, if the attachment works... Cool. Thanks. Did you take a spill and land on top of that Sentinel?
atomickneedrop #10 Posted June 23, 2007 Pressed during a move, of all the boxes to get dented. It still has shrinkwrap on it, too. here they are, if the attachment works... Cool. Thanks. Did you take a spill and land on top of that Sentinel?
streps #11 Posted June 23, 2007 Video61 Klax box is nothing special, Just a generic white box with the game label centered, and Video61 sticker beneath. Attached is a photo. The game I received did not have instructions. The best Sentinel did not come with a box or instructions. Scott
gambler172 #12 Posted June 23, 2007 Hi The Best "Sentinel" got its label from the european PAL version. And there were 2 different Resqsoft boxes for Klax;one small and a big plastic box.And there were 3 different boxes for Sentinel. One small and a big plastic box and an Atari box, similar to the PAL version, but with an NTSC sticker on it.Tne Video61 version of Klax came without a manual. greetings gambler172
+Propane13 #13 Posted June 27, 2007 Don't forget that ResQSoft's version of Klax came with a special programmer interview. -John
Mayhem #14 Posted June 27, 2007 I'd not actually seen the Video61 version of Klax before. Mine is from the first ResQ run with signature
Buyatari #15 Posted July 6, 2007 What platform was Sentinel made on first? Was it an arcade game and then a port to the 2600/7800? Did it ever get an 8bit release?
+Mitch #16 Posted July 6, 2007 What platform was Sentinel made on first? Was it an arcade game and then a port to the 2600/7800? Did it ever get an 8bit release? I think the 2600 and 7800 ports were developed simultaneously but the 2600 version was released a few months earlier. I've never heard of an arcade version and I don't think that work was ever started on the XE release though I believe it was planned. Mitch
swlovinist #17 Posted July 13, 2007 I was lucky to get my 7800 klax signed by the original programmer at CGE. Not a bad version.
