Paul Slocum #1 Posted July 8, 2002 Does anyone know of a device that will allow you to run composite video into a PC monitor? I know this can be done by running it through the computer, but I just want a dedicated box that has a composite and/or S-Video input and SVGA out. -Paul

It is in a green box and usually located in the XBOX section. The cost is $79. I am unsure of SVGA, but I can ascertain that it will do what you wish for composite/S-VIDEO and allow you to play your modern consoles on a VGA PC monitor or even your laptop display or so the box says Is it worth it and does it really work? That is a question you must research some more for I do not own the device At worst, you can purchase it and bring it back if it does not do what you expect. Check the link I have provided for your browsing pleasure http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/prod...sp?pf_id=219900
Paul Slocum #3 Posted July 8, 2002 I found several more: http://www.avtoolbox.com/video-to-vga.htm That's really cool. It'd be nice to be able to hook up my NES, VCR and some other stuff to my computer monitor. It's bigger and has a LOT better picture than the TVs in my room. -Paul

No more lugging heavy TV's! I may stop by EB and see if they still have these devices If I buy one, I will test it out thoroughly and report back any quirks or anomalies.
