Want to Buy: GoldenEye 64 Watch

Recommended Posts

I am looking for the GoldenEye 64 watch. It was sold in Software Etc./FuncoLand/Babbage's stores from 1997 through the end of 1998 (as a promotion for the N64 game), and looks like the watch featured in the game -- it has the blue and orange "life" and "armor" meters on it, and has a holographic face, if I recall.

I used to have one, but my bitch mother threw it away without my knowledge or consent, while cleaning my room out. She just searched every nook and cranny, and threw out anything and everything she thought I could live without -- you know how that goes. I tried to get it back out of the dumpster, but she (LITERALLY) beat me to the ground for trying.

No wonder I hate her. I swear to God that I will NEVER, EVER forgive her for that -- not even at her grave. That was my favorite watch of all -- I've lamented its loss almost every day for the past eight years. She threw out stuff totaling over $100,000 (including a lot of my pen and ink masterworks, which held most of the value) -- but I miss that watch the most.

Some of you may think of me as "materialistic" after reading that... but what you need to understand is that she's a sick fuck who raised me to be a handicapped "victim" who's unable to form relationships with human beings. So all I have in my life are THINGS.

I can't find one on eBay, either... and NOTHING about it on Google. If any of you have one you want to sell, please let me know. This is very important to me. I'm gonna see to it that she pays ANY price (within reason) to replace it... she may even have to whore herself out to raise the money.

wow. I dont feel very good right now. I shouldnt have read this.

Okay, so I was exaggerating on some of those things I said. But it really would be nice if I could find another watch like that, to replace the lost one.

I hope nobody took my statements to mean I was going to physically harm my mother -- I don't intend to do so. I'm just saying that if the GoldenEye 64 watch I'm looking for finally does surface (and hopefully someone here has one to sell), it would be fitting for HER to pony up whatever price it commands -- since she threw mine out, after all.

Pic?

:)

Well, it all depends on how much the seller wants for the watch... if it's less than $100 or so, I could easily cover that. But if it's reached collector's prices, then I feel that it's up to her to fix the problem she caused.

If she can afford a $45,000 SUV, she can definitely afford to replace that watch. But if the price is as sky-high as I think, then she may indeed have to turn to streetwalking, and turn thousands of tricks to raise the needed funds.

The guy who commented first said that he shouldn't have read my post. After reading that, he might think I'm some kind of a nut (and I don't blame him), but it's my mother who's got the serious mental problems.

Maybe I shouldn't have delved into the long, hurtful history between my mother and I... but the fact remains that she did steal from me. Taking a physical good from its rightful owner, with the intention of permanently depriving them of it, is THEFT -- no matter what they do with the object.

I recently emailed a guy from the UK who claimed to have one, and offered to buy it... but he hasn't responded... :(

Gamestore promos which were availble to the public rarely cost more than $100. The real expensive ones are the press only ones. If you don't have any luck I'd suggest finding a website dedicated to James Bond collectors and asking there. Most gamers didn't rush out and buy this watch but there is a chance James Bond collectors did.

How much will she whore out for? I am interested.

Probably less than a dollar -- that's why I calculated thaht she'd have to turn thousands of tricks.

And can we get an age check.

Jim

48 years old -- that's why whatever services she might provide would be worth less than a dollar.

As you have all deduced, I hold complete and utter contempt for her -- but for many, many other reasons in addition to that watch. But enough about that.

Good news: the guy called me back, finally, and said he would email the collectors in his network, and try to find the watch I'm looking for. Here's hoping it's a successful search...

I had to call my mom just to say hi and check in on her after I read this thread. BTW, why did you have $100,000 worth of crap if you live with your mom in the first place?

BINGO!!

Ok, I'll explain that. The total value of *physical goods* was probably less than $1000, but my pen-and-ink masterworks were where the other $99,000 came from. Contrary to what she believed, they were worth a lot more than the paper they were drawn on!

As for why I had so much *when I lived with my mom*: I was 16. I had nowhere else to go. Well, technically, I live with *both* natural parents, but my dad is constantly lorded over by my mother, and has NEVER been allowed to use his own personal discretion -- everything has to be cleared with her first. So for all practical purposes, my family was/is "single parent" -- she's the de facto head of household, and she has made my dad her "bitch."

As for those drawings -- when she cleaned out my room without my knowledge or consent, they were lost, too. I could have made a lot of money with my work! I guess they call 'em "starving artists" for a reason!

One of my concurrent projects is getting a home of my own, so I'll never have to worry about her again... she's brought me nothing but trouble.

The guy hasn't called me again about the watch, by the way. Matt Sherman, a minister by profession, as well as organizer of the world-famous "Bond Collectors Weekend," tells me that he has seen what I'm looking for, but he has to contact many other collectors in search of it. Might take a while.
