Planet Bob - The Damned German Dates

Hi there!

Reworked this entry, since The Damned now announced even more German Dates in august!

Fri July 20th, Glaubtiz Back To Future Festival:

Thu Aug 23rd Berlin SO36

Fri Aug 24th Hamburg Markthalle

Sat Aug 25th TBC TBC

The tour to Glaubitz is pretty much organized by now, with my sister and a couple of friends we'll most likely stay the whole weekend camping at the "Back to Future" Festival!

(With "The Adverts" and "The Boys" playing there on Saturday, I didn't manage to talk them into following "The Damned" to Essen :lol: )

Not 100% sure what to make of the two confirmed August dates yet.

Hamburg is at the very opposite end of Germany of where I'm living. I actually went there to see The Damned 10 years ago, but this day and age I'm kinda reluctant to drive 20+ hours (To and Back) for a single gig...

I have some relatives living there I might visit along the way though...

I have some cool memories regarding Berlin and the SO36. When The Damned toured Germany in 2000, my girlfriend (now wife!) and I went there, staying the whole weekend in Berlin, which was our first vacation as a couple then I have also some some friends to visit in Berlin...

So it'll be Berlin I guess

I hope the third date will be somewhere in southern Germany, maybe Munich. Well, making 3 out of 5 dates sounds good to me. Let's hope it all works out

BTW: A German tour is usually a good sign for the Damned. That normally means they're looking for a new record company :lol:
