sandmountainslim #1 Posted June 27, 2007 Any word on whether anyone is working on a thirtieth anniversary cartridge for the VCS? I had assumed that the AA Store would have something along those lines this year for the anniverdary whether it be a new game or a multi cart of some sort. Gimme Information! +Nathan Strum #2 Posted June 27, 2007 Tank (Combat) AI would be cool, and appropriate. If Zach could get permission from Atari.
Shaggy the Atarian #3 Posted June 27, 2007 Speaking of anniversary's, today is Atari's 35th. I had been wondering if anyone was going to do something special for the 2600's 30th anniversary. That would be pretty cool.
Gateway #4 Posted June 28, 2007 (edited) I'm working on something... Though I can't say much more at this point because, with moving, work, and school, and finishing up the current Globetrotter release, I'm not sure if I will have it ready in time for CGE in Vegas this year. Oh, now I've said too much... Edited June 28, 2007 by Gateway
sandmountainslim #5 Posted July 1, 2007 I am big time curious as to what is in store for October and the VCS. Our Stella is still alive! I wonder how many years new games can be squeezed out for the Auld Machine? WP

Shawn #8 Posted July 1, 2007 Well the 9in1 Atariboy2600 and I had planed is now vaporware I can say that much What happened with that Shawn? Atariboy fell off the face of the Earth and I don't want to do the project without him.
+atari2600land #9 Posted July 1, 2007 Halloween Havoc will be released in October, although it's not really a 30th anniversary celebration cart.
+Nathan Strum #10 Posted July 2, 2007 Does it still count as the 30th anniversary until the 31st one rolls around?
sandmountainslim #11 Posted July 3, 2007 Does it still count as the 30th anniversary until the 31st one rolls around? I suppose it would....especially if the forthcoming game is FONZ WP
Shawn #12 Posted July 11, 2007 Well the 9in1 Atariboy2600 and I had planed is now vaporware I can say that much What happened with that Shawn? With the return of AtariBoy2600 the project is now back on track. There will be only 30 carts made of this 30th birthday cart. And yes it's gonna be a 9in1. +Nathan Strum #14 Posted July 11, 2007 In all fairness, that still works out to 270 games.
PacManPlus #15 Posted July 11, 2007 (edited) I think all 9 games should be re-done in BatariBasic and have a little something extra added to them... Combat's been done (almost) already! *Edited for spelling* Edited July 11, 2007 by PacManPlus
