Wickeycolumbus' Blog - Harvesting some Code...

Recommended Posts

I am well in to Andrew Davie's tutorial (im on like session 15; good stuff!) on atari 2600 programming. The more i read it, the more i think that it is possible to make a 2600 game in assembly. Without Andrews tutorial, i would never be able to learn all of that junk about the TIA. I would also never figure out how to make a binary file with DASM.

I bought a simple dual power Willem EPROM Programmer on ebay recently. I have many 2732s, but lack the quantity of game cases and circuit boards to make my game (i still havent started it yet, i am still learning). When i sell my game (combatzone), i might make a deal where if you give me some game cartridges, you will get a discount. this will be good for all of us; get rid of some of those old adventures and combats to get a discount on a very good homebrew game(No, AtariAge will not be producing combatzone, i figure i can make it cheeper if i produce it my self).

I cant wait for Rune Factory: A Fantsy Harvest Moon to come out! I really like farming and video games, so whats better than having them both at the same time! I dont have a PSP, but Harvest Moon Innocent life and Harvest Moon Boy and Girl look very good, and i might have to get a PSP so i can play them!
