LYNXGUY #1 Posted July 1, 2007 (edited) I use the XFORMER 2000 for Windows emulator without any trouble however when I first downloaded it (2003 I think) I downloaded the wrong version and I got no sound no matter what I did so I updated the version and I have been having a blast ever since. I have tons of games (.atr files) on my computer and I have a hard time deciding what game to play Edited July 1, 2007 by L¥NXGU¥

LYNXGUY #3 Posted October 14, 2007 I have no problems using XFORMER 2000 FOR WINDOWS but I haven't tried playing any BASIC games yet but I might find the time to try today. When I first tried using it I had no sound whatsoever so I updated the version and all is good and it has been a few years since but I am busy with my ATARI 800 and 800XL, why use an EMU when you can use the real thing. Dude... I drive a semi truck. With a 17" Laptop and a Stelladapter, along with some Atari joysticks and paddles, I have a fully functional arcade, Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Vectrex, Colecovision, Intelliision, Atari 800/XL/XE, Atari ST, Vic 20, C-64, Amiga, Odyssey 2 and more! The original hardware is nice, but it is awesome, being at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere, being able to play whatever game I feel like playing, on whatever system I feel like playing it on. LYNXGUY #12 Posted October 28, 2008 It is easier to play games on the XFORMER 2000 than you think and I did try Atari800win and I couldn't figure it out and I still use XFORMER 2000 even with my new laptop it works great. If you still need a how to guide about XFORMER 2000 please let me know and I will post a simple how to guide for you
+remowilliams #13 Posted October 28, 2008 Cool, all done, cheers bud. One thing, can I use a joypad on the games? Yes, if your game controller is recognized by your system properly you should be able to select it under the Input/Joysticks menu.
