Technosis #6 Posted July 2, 2007 I've seen this one pop up several times in the used VHS section of video stores, it shouldn't be too hard to find if you have access to a flea market or something that has a whole pile of used videos. Anyhow, here's a scan of the box. I remember this being a fun but typically silly teen guy movie, that is sort of like an arcade version themed version of Porky's. The characters are off the wall stereotypes, and the "King Vidiot" guy is sort of this weird punk/ new wave guy (think Adam Ant ) that has these "punkettes" that accompany him. Fun movie, includes the classic "video game playoff" showdown, mindless fun but obviously nothing too deep. Shoot me a PM and I can help you out
Jess Ragan #7 Posted July 2, 2007 I reviewed this on my site a long long time ago, as exclusive content for donating readers. I ought to dig it up and offer it on the Blitz free of charge... I recall the article being pretty humorous. JR
S1500 #8 Posted July 3, 2007 I rented it over 10 years ago when I was working for Blockbuster and loved it. A classic teenage T&A movie + videogames. What more could you ask for? Several months ago I bought it on DVD(along with Midnight Madness), and it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. But, it belongs in my collection nonetheless. The film quality is a bit dark and grainy, but that's no fault of the DVD mastering. That's the way it was filmed, sadly. Lots of classic video games shown. Even "Naughty Boy" was featured for a few seconds. Good 'ol Jon Gries(The Pretender, Napoleon Dynamite) is featured as good 'ol King Vidiot. I loved it when him and his band of punks walked around the arcade doing their chants & robot dance.

I had the laserdisc version of the movie, and the quality was much better compared to this DVD. BP
Snider-man #10 Posted July 4, 2007 Boobies and classic videogames - how can this NOT be a classic? But you did remind me of Midnight Madness earlier. When I was in junior high, HBO played that movie ALL THE TIME. My little group-o-nerds thought it'd be awesome to run an all night party/scavenger hunt-like event like that...
