who has a custom firmware, and what are your "must have" homebrew apps/games?

mine would have to be most the emulators (namely the atari 2600)

i am a psprevolution fan

and anyone who hasn't tried ps1 on psp should get on that, goooood stuff!

I do.... I've been a big fan of the homebrew area. I love loading a few of my games on the Memory stick. But I think the most fun I've had is playing my PS1 games on the PSP. I tell you what... there is NOTHING like watching FFVII load up on the PSP for the first time. Or Metal Gear Solid for that matter.

Fun Stuff.

Next in line: I'm going to learn how to do the TG cd games. I think I'll enjoy that quite a bit.

How big is your memory stick, Eric? I hesitate to put FF7 on one, since it's going to take most of the space on my 2GB stick.

I have wipEout XL on 1GB stick. It really requires a negCon to play, so the experience on the PSP is a little less than stellar. Perhaps I'll try Colony Wars or Um Jammer Lammy next. Actually, no...maybe I should load up Command & Conquer...

i only have a 1 gig stick right now (4 gig is coming in the mail) but i have one disk of FFVII (500 mb) and then a load of emulators on it too...even though final fantasy takes up most my stick, its worth it. also about metal gear, i thought you couldnt do metal gear due to the disc switching? (because you dont save before the switch) hopefully i am wrong though..

I just got one last thing to add to this....Recently I posted a list of linux games and as I stated at the time most of them had versions for other OSs. But what I did not post was that on some of those sites they had versions for the PSP.

There's a guitar effects processor app that I just found out about last night.

I'm going to try that out as soon as I get the stuff to make the cable adapter.

It seems as though the psp has limitless potential.

TG emulator and a few roms (will be loading Dracula X on there soon... waiting on a PSP analog stick in the mail)... The Bigs, The Warriors.... and I have a few other things

Lots of room... tons of fun

Wait... is there a good Vectrex emulator on the PSP now? Man, I've been out of the loop forever...

The emulator I used... I had to manipulate it a bit to get it to work. I guess it was programed with only 10 or so games. I got Thrust to work on it though. I thought there was sound... but I guess I could be wrong about that.
