Inky #1 Posted July 6, 2007 I have just decided to sell my 7800/2600 stuff. I have quite a bit, and am giving my brother first crack at it (He said he was interested, and anyway, if he has it, I could always borrow it from him lol ) I just dont play it much anymore, I need the space, and well, the money too. I knew this day was coming, but there ya go. Im not getting rid of my 8-bit computer or non-working 5200 though. If this falls through, I'll post the lot up here. Gregory DG #2 Posted July 6, 2007 Bummer. Do you have a Cuttle Cart 2? If you did, you could just keep the 7800 and sell all the rest of it.
Inky #3 Posted July 6, 2007 Wanted a cc2, but never could scrape up the cash for one.
SINGLE TOOTH #4 Posted July 6, 2007 so then what, you out of the scene? also what is for sale?
FireTiger #5 Posted July 6, 2007 I'm sorry to hear this Inky, but usually ya'll come back, and if you keep track on who has 'your' stuff you can always send zombie inky to get it back. Well, anyway I know I missed out on some of the limited run homebrews/hacks so I'd suggest listing them and the holiday carts separate from the rest if you are actually planning to sell everything... of course I just had to replace a bed so I'm broke (except for the money set aside for a wii and some games I already promised to get)... Good Luck, Peace, FireTiger
godsey1 #6 Posted July 6, 2007 Sorry to hear that Inky I am in the process of gettting another 2600 collection together, as I had to sell mine a few years ago. You may want to keep your rarest games(or a few of them). Tony
shadow460 #7 Posted July 6, 2007 I lost my entire collection a few years ago. I was able to recover a small, yet very sentimental part of it. Aside from that, I've been having to build it back up from scratch. The games I own just don't have quite the same feel as my old ones did, and it's cost too much to rebuild. If your brother buys it, then there's always the chance you can buy it back when he gets tired of it. You'll have it out of the house for a while, and it'll be there should you change your mind. I know if I ever have a wife that tells me I have to sell out, I'll be going through a second divorce. I'm definitely hanging on to my collection with both hands this time around. It's definitely a tough decision to make. If you are trying to raise money, that usually means selling rares. Try to keep the games you like most! shadow460 #10 Posted July 7, 2007 Forget selling rares to buy food. They will have to be pried from my cold, dead, and starved hands.
