Help me ID this scene.

I dunno.. I don't think I've ever seen a game with a fat ass "BuyAtari" logo across it.. :ponder:

Are you sure it's for an arcadegame?

 

I'm pretty sure it is yes. Should be Atari in the era 81-84.

Okay, I'm thinking side-art. Space game with side-art with that picture on it. Maybe War of the Worlds? Maybe some other shooter.

Definitely side art, though. Not a marquee image.

As I own no arcade cabinets (not even a cabaret or mini), I have no clue as to what this game is.

Time to google-fu KLOV for a little arcade-lovin'! :D

Wow, I'm stumped, and I tried all the Atari/Atari Games titles on KLOV and the Atari museum. I even checked my Atari 2600 catalog for good measure.

 

Maybe it's from a poster/flyer?

Not it has to be a machine. Could be a prototype thou.

any your sure it was actually intended for a game. Also your sure thats not someone layering in buy atari text on top.

 

If I had to guess, it looks like something that should go into last starfighter.
