Anyone need a 10mhz Z80 CPU?

FS: 10 mhz Zilog Z80 CPU and a BIOS chip removed from a Colecovision. Z80 was never soldered. What would happen if you replaced the 4 mhz cpu in the CV with this 10mhz cpu? Fun experiment? $9.99

wow...just saw this thread...Im suprised no responses....

 

It may actually work but unless you change the clock its still going to run at 4mhz.

I replaced a 2mhz Z-80 with a 4 mhz in my Astrocade and it worked fine but it

was not anyfaster becasue the clock was'nt, nor could it be. The custom chips

are already too hot at 2mhz, they'd be radioactive at 4 mhz until they blew up.
