Bill and I both gave you some info on how to do it. Al I know but your not getting what i'm asking. Does anyone know how to make a Qix board run zookeeper? In other words, is there someone here that knows how how to do it and can they do it. I'm looking for someone that i can send a Qix board to in the mail and have them do it. Then i could pay them for the work. The previous post you are talking about was where i was looking for information on how to do it but it didn't help as i don't have the tools or knowhow to do it. AlanD #4 Posted July 19, 2007 You're right I did not get that you were asking someone to do it since the phrasing was pretty much the same as your other post and you didn't amplify that you wanted someone else to do it. I thought you were only looking for the info on how to do it and would be doing it yourself. At one time I considered doing this to one of my boards but it seemed like an extreme amount of effort for the return. In my opinion, for a quality job to be done the person would probably want more than the cost of a Zookeeper board itself. The alternative is to look around for a dead Zookeeper to get the daughterboard and such from and then use that to modify your Qix board. Sorry I cannot be more help than that but those are the best suggestions I can come up with for you.

Seem to be to damn hard to find.
mr.bill #6 Posted July 19, 2007 Does anyone on here know how to make a Qix board run Zookeeper? Both boardsets are such a pain to keep working. The idea of swapping games is pretty insane. I would susggest you build a mame box and put it in your cabinet just to run those games. Maybe add the few other taitos (electric yoyo, space dungeon, kram). If your lucky maybe someone will build a multigame for it. Otherwise, be very happy if yours works. Don't forget to repalce the battery before it leaks.. Yes, finding zookeeper parts are hard. Since its more than just a rom swap, you might want to consider the mame box. Those that have spare zooker parts probably are afraid to sell them. +DamonicFury #8 Posted July 19, 2007 (edited) An alternative to a MAME box that will play both Qix, Zookeeper and 8 other Taito classics can be found here: Review of Gameroom Classics bartops I picked up one of these on Ebay for under $200, and it's quite nice. Zookeeper plays great, but Qix does have an sound issue in it's emulation... the background hum typical to Qix keeps cutting out. And, of course, Arkanoid doesn't play very well with a joystick! According to the review, it seems you could even take out the circuit board and put into a JAMMA cabinet. Edited July 19, 2007 by sdamon

I'll probably end up buying an original complete one too as well as ther arcades.
