I would love some animated icons, small enough to use with AIM.

That is beautiful, as close to a museum as I've seen. Congratulations on bringing even the most obscure games to living life.

 

Is there any way to download all the gifs?

 

Could the games, with descriptions, be worked into a GUI for Stella?

Those do look cool, but as far as using them on the website, I'm not so sure...

 

One of the things I love the most about your site is how easy and fast it is to search for a game, but with the animation running, the main screen and the search window no longer scroll smoothly which definitely slows down the search process.

 

I'm sure you did a tremendous amount of work setting this up, but I for one am not particularly happy about this change.

 

 

EDIT: Jason, Perhaps I was a little abrupt with my judgement. I just noticed that if you move the animation off screen, the search window scrolls smoothly, which is all I really care about.

 

Generally, I don't like flashing animated things on the screen, but it is nice to be able to see more of the game than a single screenshot.

Generally, I don't like flashing animated things on the screen, but it is nice to be able to see more of the game than a single screenshot.

 

 

Don't worry, I am concious of this. There will be a setting on the television which will allow you to stop the animation, and it will persist as long as you have cookies on.

 

If you are doing a lot of game searching you should install the firefix/ie search plugins. I know... typing... but with the "instant search plugin" you can type "space invaders" and it will take you directly to the correct page.

Yes I am. Unfortunately these take a lot of processing time, like 3 hours each on a dual opteron
