Help w/ Atari800Win

Hi.

 

My Atari 400 has a missing pin on the Player 1 joystick port, so I found out about Atari800Win so I could play Star Raiders.

I got it to work after a few minutes and all the keyboard keys work - except for the direction and firing keys.

I tried several configurations to get either the keyboard or the joystick to work, but was unsuccessful.

Does anybody else have this problem? My joystick is USB - would that be a problem?

 

Basically, I can do everything but use the joystick functions. I've been through Atari800Win's configuration and found a tutorial or two, but it's not working the way it should.

 

What should I do to configure my joystick?

Just select the appropriate controller from Input -> Joysticks.

 

I've used a number of PC controllers with mine - currently have a Playstation controller via a USB adaptor.
