Gotten your GH 80's Edition yet?

I'm playing through the Expert campaign right now.

 

DAMN is the solo for Because It's Midnite HARD. I mean HAAAAARRRRD. Like, Jordan on Expert hard. You pretty much have to hit all the star power before the solo, or you're screwed.

 

Other than that, I Ran So Far Away and Round and Round are my two favorite to play so far (I've been waiting for Round and Round since the first GH game). I'd have liked it more were the game 10 bucks less (and not on PS2, but on the 360), but it's still the same ol' enjoyable game.

 

Meh, one more thing. It's like they went completely overboard on the 3 note chords. Come on, guys, don't break that arm patting yourselves on the back because you implemented 3 note chords, it's not that cool, and it's actually pretty damn annoying.

 

Another quick thing, What I Like About You from The Romantics, a song that I really like, is totally destroyed this time. I think it's an original track, so it's not the actual song they butchered, but they way you play it it just total crap. NOTHING but 3 note chords, literally, back and forth, back and forth. I had to stop playing after finishing it, as my fingers were ready to cramp into a claw. Here's a big double deuce to whoever thought of making this song like that.

I agree about What I like about you, and Because its Midnite. I didn't expect that kind of solo on a Tier 2... although it is good they did include some hard songs. Gives me some incentive to replay some songs.
