crash #1 Posted July 25, 2007 Greetings, I recently got an Eiffel PS2 keyboard/mouse adapter. It seems that the programming software available allows the Mouse Wheel to be configured as several options, but not in the way that seems to be most useful to me. In most programs on Atari, SHIFT-UP or SHIFT-DOWN allows keyboard control of the scroll bar. This allows paging through the window. Eiffel instead offers UP or DOWN keys, which moves the cursor 3 lines up or down. This is especially problematic since line by line scrolling is very slow on my computer/color depth. My question is, can the mouse wheel be set to send the scan codes for SHIFT-UP or SHIFT-DOWN instead? The scan codes may be as follows: E0F012E075 # Keynumber 83 down. (Numlock:off. Shift:Left) E0F075E012 # Keynumber 83 up. (Numlock:off. Shift:Left) E0F012E072 # Keynumber 84 down. (Numlock:off. Shift:Left) E0F072E012 # Keynumber 84 up. (Numlock:off. Shift:Left) instead of: E075 # Keynumber 83 down. (Numlock:off. Shift:no) E0F075 # Keynumber 83 up. (Numlock:off. Shift:no) E072 # Keynumber 84 down. (Numlock:off. Shift:no) E0F072 # Keynumber 84 up. (Numlock:off. Shift:no) If I hold down SHIFT with the Mouse Wheel, scrolling works as I would prefer, although this requires both hands. Thanks!
