Just got my Supercharger + interesting link

Recommended Posts

I just got my Arcadia Supercharger with phaser patrol, commie mutants & suicide mission through the post. WOW!!!! This thing is great, it loads very easy with an old Aiwa walkman and those games are really impressive. All three are fantastic, I'm going to be playing them a lot I reckon.

Anyhow, found this interesting page a day or too ago, have a look.

Anyhow, back to phaser patrol!

Chris

Crank up commie mutants to the highest level and see if you last more than 30 seconds!

I'd be interested to talk to the guy who designed the SuperCharger if that were possible--see what he thinks of my 4A50 design. To be sure, some aspects of 4A50 (such as having 32K of RAM) instead of 6K may not have been practical in the early 1980's, but I'd be interested how he came up with his write design and what he thinks of mine.

Stella Gets a New Brain has quite a bit of Starpath content. Even though I have all of the titles published before Starpath was sold, I still would like to get the CD anyway.

I'd make backup copies of your tapes and use those. They're value brand cassettes, and probably aren't too sturdy.

On the other hand, the last time I looked, Frogger was listed at $80 plus on digital Press. You should be able to find it cheaper. It is worth what you'll pay for it.
