Catch of the Day!

Recommended Posts

Thought you all might appreciate this more than a general forum..

So today for $50.00, I pickup up..

2 Atari 800 XL’s w/cables

1 Atari 800 w/cables

2 Atari 1050 Disk Drives w/cables

1 Apeface parallel interface

1 Suncom Joystick

Multiple books, manuals, & catalogs

Leather type covers for one 1050 and one 800XL

Lots of software, including many boxed items.. Go Go Track & Field controller.. and a sealed ICD US doubler

Only thing that puzzles me are two carts..

one labeled Diagnostic Cartridge SALT 2.05 IE15644, and other with no shell that says Microsoft II has disk extender... thats it.

Any help on those? and here are some pix!

Boxed T&F is rare, even in less than perfect condition.

Very nice score!

The Salt is also rare. This is a diagnostic tool. (And I'm interested, as a technician. )

I've repaired the 8-bit machines as Atari employee but never used it ayway.

There should be some hardware with the Salt, like cables to the joystick ports and more.

The microsoft is a fairly good Basic. (Complies to a standard)

Hi Guus,

Jij ook hier?

Maybe you missed it, but a few weeks back there was a thread at Abbuc about a SALT box. The discussion (in German) as well as some internal pix can be found at:

Grtz,

In fact, that particular SALT cartridge is much more common than a boxed T&F package.

That cartridge appears (maybe) 5 or 6 times per year; a boxed T&F is considerably harder to find.

All that aside, though, this was a fantastic deal!
