New not-so-classic Classic Game Tees at Wal-Mart

Recommended Posts

Picked these up at Wal-Mart for something like 4.99. Figured what the heck. Their game related and i kinda liked em. Does anyone else here have these as well. What others are their. I have another one put up (not pictured) that says "classically trained" and has an NES on it. Are their any others besides these out there? I know theres at least a couple i don't have.

If you have a Kohl's near you, I've seen some good video-game t-shirts in there. One had a list titled "Everything I Needed to Know I Learned Playing Video Games." Another showed an NES joypad with the phrase "Old School" (I would've preferred an Atari joystick instead, but oh well). There were others, but those are the two I remember specifically.

I have one that has a NES pad with "Keep it Real" on there. Also have two Mario tees, one with the SMB2 cover with "Power Up" written and the other with "Know your Mushrooms" and all the different mushroom power-ups.

Check any Wal-Marts in your area and see if they have them. I'd ask andseeif they could even get you one. They're around.

I have a blue tee w/ pacman on it and my wife has a black tee with the pacman ghosts on it. I realized one day that we were both wearing our pacman shirts at the same time. I knew we were getting funny looks for some reason. :)

K-Mart had two, one with a NES pad and "Game On" and a semi retro Sonic electric blue shirt. The Sonic shirt was really cool and I would have gotten one but all they had was small. On a delivery, I had a customer wearing a Nintendo Rehabilitation Camp shirt. The K-Mart shirts were $5.

I've seen a T-shirt with an Atari joystick and the word "Roots" underneath it. Maybe it was online somewhere...

I saw a shirt that had a NES, or maybe it was the NES controller on it, and it said "Everyone loves a Player!". I'll probably get it soon. ^_^

The definitive retro T was the Atari logo one that was worn by one of the characters in the movie Road Trip. We're talking Hasbro Interactive era. I used to have one of those.

As a side-note, a friend of mine was in a thift store the other day and picked up a nice, like new Bubblegum Crisis T-shirt from the early 90's. The damage on his card: $1. It's always suggestable to roam through the clothes section every now and then to check out if any good game/anime shirts have come in.

Hot Topic usually has some sweet gaming shirts. I got my Metroid and Mega Man shirts there, and was gonna go back and get a Contra one (had the title screen splashed on a black shirt), but they didn't have my size. They're a little expensive, but still cool.

Good idea! :)

They never had my size, only a dozen XXXXL shirts.. they might as well have made mumu's of those designs. Who doesn't carry larges anymore? Hot Topic thats who.
