thinking of selling jag collection, includes BS and BSG

Recommended Posts

hi everyone,

i'm thinking of selling my entire jag collection in one lot and was wondering what you all might think it'd be worth. i haven't taken a full on inventory in a while but if i'm not mistaken, i have all boxes, manuals and overlays for everything. included would be:

jaguar (original, first day unit)

jaguar cd player

jag controllers (3 or 4 i think)

jag pro controller (2 i think)

jag team tap

jag memory cart

jaglink interface

jag s-video cable

as for the games, i don't want to list each individually as i have what i consider an *almost* complete collection. i have the atariage rarity guide open in another window so it'd be easier for me to list what i *don't* have.

air cars

cybermorph (i have a first release copy, not the later version, i don't know which is which)

gorf classic

hyper force

iron soldier 2

iron soldier 2 cd

jagmind bomb squad

ocean depths

painter

protector: special edition

skycopter

skyhammer

soccer kid

space war 2000

speedster 2

total carnage

world tour racing

worms

zero 5

as you can see from above, most, if not all, games that i am missing are "post atari collapse" releases. not denegrating all the hard work that went into the above titles, i just lost interest after the collapse.

please note the list above are titles NOT included so yes, battlesphere and battlesphere gold are part of this collection.

again, just testing waters as to what you all think this would be worth as a lot. all games have boxes, manuals and overlays. i think i have a few doubles that would be included as a bonus but they are carts only (first copy intact, doubles are cart only)

any feedback is appreciated.

thanks, t

HA! funny guys.

i'm guessing the games you mentioned have two versions each. as stated, i went off of the atariage rarity guide and it only lists one version for each so if i didn't list second version, my apologies.

for anyone that wants to compare the atariage list versus my list of DON'T haves, here is a link

thanks again all

d8thstar, your collection is worth around $1,500-$2,000 in my opinion. I think all of your hardware and both Battlespheres together is worth $1,000 alone. Then if you have almost every original release boxed complete...that's worth a load...

Ya, but those games he listed in his first post are games he DOESN'T have! ;) He's doesn't have Speedster 2 or Skycopter... ;)

and for Battlesphere I guestimated it's worth $300 and $500 for Battlesphere: Gold. Then I guestimated each game boxed complete is worth on average $10-15. So i dunno.
