LAST NINJA , N.E.R.D.S. special edition VS normal edition

I have been lucky to be at the CGE with a friend

so I can try the 2 different editions of those games and compare them

I will do that this week end

You know, I am interested in seeing what the box art for The Last Ninja is like, as it's not up on Atari2600.com. Are there any differences in the packaging for the special editions of these games?

 

I've been back and forth about buying a copy of either game. It seems like most people here think the games are mediocre at best, and $40 is a lot for a game that is unpolished. Still though, the games seem fun. But $40...

There is a copy of Last Ninja on ebay that shows the artwork, so you can check it out there

Thanks for doing that. I didn't know that if you clicked on the screenshots, you'd see the boxes.

 

Did the special editions cost any more than the standard versions?

Not true, as explained at CGE from the people selling the game, (I happenend to score boxed versions of each), the ROMS are different as well... I know for a fact that in last ninja, your weapon is different, you have a samurai sword instead of a shuriken. There is a difference in the NERDs roms as well... Not just box difference...

Not true, as explained at CGE from the people selling the game, (I happenend to score boxed versions of each), the ROMS are different as well... I know for a fact that in last ninja, your weapon is different, you have a samurai sword instead of a shuriken. There is a difference in the NERDs roms as well... Not just box difference...
