Atlantis or Atlantis 2 ????

How do i tell the box says NEW ATLANTIS with the night back round. so does the cart to match the box i know there are like 3 or 4 ways to tell i wish i could remember how. any ideas

It's not really saying "NEW Atlantis", the "NEW" isn't actually part of the game's title. This is simply how Imagic denoted the the game was a "NEW" release. Activision did the same thing with their boxes, but in a more obvious manner. The initial release of the first Activision games for the 2600 have a black band in the lower right corner that states, "A NEW GAME CARTRIDGE FOR YOUR ATARI VIDEO GAME SYSTEM":

The latest issue of "2600 Connection" has an article about AII that I had done about a month before AtariAge posted their story on it. Unfortunately for me, the guy sold the game and the rest of his collection a few months before I found him. Missed having my first exclusive by thatmuch
