Atari 2600 Switchbox

Is it possible to hook a 2600 up to a 5200 4 port switch box by getting something that hooks up into todays tvs with the UHF prongs at the end put it onto the switchbox then hook that and the other cord onto my cable box then take the coxial adaptor hooked up to the game cord and put that onto the switchboxes outlet for that?

I don't think so...doesn't the 4-port switch box have power going to it as well? Why do you want to do this? Why are you messing around with junky switchboxes anyway? Just get a coxial-to-RCA adapter for your 2600.

Best suggestion, run your cable through another connection. I use my TV coax just for game systems. My cable goes to a VCR - yeah, one of those - and from there to a line on my TV.
