Weird cart behavior, anyone help?

Got some games through the post today from an ebay auction(all stated as working by the seller). Now the Challenge of Nexar didn't work at first, so I gave it a good clean with isopropyl achohol on a cotton bud, still no go, so polished it with autosol metal polish, cleaned again to remove any residues. Well it worked once, now can't get it going again! Have tryed resoldering the chip joints but no effect except now the label is knackered!Any ideas folks? Have tried on both my six switch 2600 & almost brand new 7800.

Best thing to clean card edge connections is a pencil eraser.

Thanks, tried that too, think the ROM chip has failed, oh well.....
